The Introductory Technical Security Products Training Course is a Web-based self-paced course that provides the student with a basic knowledge of the challenges facing today's security administrators. The IPS and SMS modules discuss installation, configuration and operation of the Intrusion Prevention System and the Security Management System. The course includes quizzes at the end of each module.

TippingPoint Advanced Technical Security Products Training Course

The Advanced Technical Security Products Training Course is a hands-on, two-day instructor-led course that covers the security landscape, basic Intrusion Prevention System (IPS) and Security Management System (SMS) installation, configuration and operation. It covers basic and advanced troubleshooting and diagnostics, focusing on commonly seen issues. Students will perform basic lab assignments in order familiarize themselves with the user interface and common administrative tasks.

TippingPoint Expert Technical Security Products Training Course

The Expert Technical Security Products Training Course is a hands-on, five day instructor-led course that teaches expert-level concepts and best practices necessary for implementation planning, installation, configuration, security management and system administration of the TippingPoint solution. Through interactive lectures and hands-on labs, students will learn to implement the Intrusion Prevention System (IPS) and the Security Management System (SMS) using the standard interface modes. Students will also acquire in-depth expert knowledge of how to tune and configure a TippingPoint IPS for optimum performance on their network and learn advanced configuration management of multiple IPS's using the Security Management System.
